ADL Golden Mile in PB Time

It was sun and few clouds and 10 degrees.

The ADL Golden Mile at Queen Charlotte Intermediate School. The course on North River Road.

Steven Baglole won the race and Ellen Burnett for the top female.

I finished in 5:14, beat my mile PB, 8 seconds fasten than last year and came in 4th out of 79 runners.

ADL Golden Mile - A Personal Best 1 Mile

It was sunny and 13 degrees.

The ADL Golden Mile at Queen Charlotte Intermediate High School. The course on North River Road.

Steven Baglole won the race and Vanessa Foster for the top female.

I finished in 5:22, came in 6th out of 65 runners and best time in mile. 9 seconds faster than in 2008.

Tomorrow I will run the Terry Fox 50km run from Tidnish Bridge, NS to Borden, PEI.

Steven Baglole edges Kris Taylor and won the race and Katherine Drake for the top female.

I finished in 5:39 and came in 9th out of 46 runners.

Tomorrow I run 36km easy on trail in the morning and Terry Fox Run in the afternoon.

Terry Fox run goes Sunday in Summerside

The Journal Pioneer

SUMMERSIDE - The Terry Fox Marathon of Hope goes this Sunday in Summerside.

Local woman, Linda A, is spearheading this year's run.

Pledge sheets are available at Waterfront Mall at Mac's News, at Credit Union Place, Sobeys' courtesy desk and at the Summerside Tax Centre.

Those wishing to participate are asked to be at the Waterfront Mall Hot Spot by 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Participants can walk, jog, run, wheel or cycle five or 10 kilometres.

ADL Golden Mile - On the heels of an Olympian

It was cloudy and 14 degrees.

The 25th ADL Golden Mile at North River Road.

Kara Grant ahead of me in 3rd position.

I finishes in 4th overall out of 52 runners.

Stephen Bagole won the race in under 5 minutes of 4:59 and Kara Grant for the top female.

I got a 3rd place male ribbon.

Tomorrow I run 10km for Terry Fox Run at Victoria Park.
