Cabot Trail Relay Race
May 23rd / 24th
The 2015 Cabot Trail Relay at Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.
I joined the Red Island Road Hogs this year with 15 runners.
I finished in 59:55 and came in 7th out of 70 teams.
The Maine-iacs won the relay and Red Island Road Hogs and came in 4th out of 70 teams.

The PEI Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics at Cavendish National Park.
The course on Gulf Shore Parkway.
I won the 10km race and came in 1st out of 20 runners. Adrien Sherry for the top female.
Hailee Campbell won the 5km race and 1st overall and Aubrey Farrar for the top male.

It was sun and cloud and 15 degrees.
The flyPEI Runway Run at Charlottetown Airport.
Aron Croken won the race and Melanie McKenna for the top female.
I finished in 19:04 and came in 4th out of 246 runners.

It was cloudy and 3 degrees.
The Proude's Shoes 5K at Sherwood. My mom was absent this year Proude's Shoe 5K due to flu. My dad and Cheri Gallant took over to registration.
The course on Ellis Rd, Maple Ave and Ash Drive.
I finished in 18:53 and came in 11th out of 100 runners. Alex Cyr won the race and Jen Nicholson for the top female.

PEI RoadRunners AGM & Awards Banquet

The 2014 PEI Roadrunners AGM & Awards Banquet at The Old Triangle Irish Alehouse.
I received the Senior Male Point Champion with 203 points.
Kris Taylor for the Male Roadrunner of the Year, and Natalie Dallaire for the Senior Female Point Champion and Female Roadrunner of the Year. The Peterson family took the awards for Junior Male, Junior Female and Ewen Stweart Inspirational Runner Award. Ronda Bellafontaine for Most Improved Roadrunner and Leanne Vessey for Rookie of The Year award. Kevin Proude wins Volunteer of the Year.

The Sporting Intentions Spring Run Off at Sporting Intentions. The course on North River Rd, Brighton and Victoria Park.
I finished in 41:33 and came in 11th out of 36 runners.
Stanley Chaisson won the 10km race and Allie Keedwell for the top female. Luke Maiorino won the 5km race and Melanie McKenna for the top female.

My First Boston Marathon
The 119th Boston Marathon at Hopkinton, Massachusetts. The course on Hopkinton, Ashland, Framingham, Natick, Wellesley, Newton, Brookline and Boston.
It was showers and east wind and 7 degrees.

I finished in 3:34:36 and came in 11,646 out of 26,610 runners.It was the first timer!
Stan Chaisson was the top Islander and 8th Canadian. Lelisa Desisa won the race and Caroline Rotich for the top female.
The finish line celebration at Cheers bar with drink and chicken figures.
Thanks to Dave Perry for the finish line photo, all runners, facebook friends and Boston Athletic Association for support me and coverage the 119th Boston Marathon!

The halfway split of 1:32, climb 4 Newton Hills while listening AC/DC at Heartbreak Hill, The "screaming tunnel" at Wellesley College which I wasn't kiss and high five the girls and enter Boston.

Next day I returned to Canada with NB and PEI runners from Holiday Inn, shopping in Freeport, spend night in Moncton and finally home.

Boston 2015 - The weekend so far...
The 2015 Boston Marathon Trip with PEI and NB runners. Beginning at Salisbury on Friday morning at Irving Station.
We're arrived at Holiday Inn in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.
On Saturday morning in Boston The marathon expo at John B Hynes Convention Center. I picked up bib number, running stuffs and watching course preview.
I meet the Dick and Rick Hoyt. Dick serves this year Boston Marathon Grand Marshall. One of the most highlight of the Boston trip!
I eating mexican foods with Moughans.
On Sunday morning I touring the marathon course in Hopkinton and Downtown Boston then I get ready for tomorrow. The weather says east winds and showers.
