They're off and running
Runners all dressed in red leave the Queen Charlotte Armouries in Charlottetown Saturday morning for the Wear Red Road Race in support of the troops and military families. These were the 10 kilometre and five kilometre races, but a half-martathon was also run from the Pownal Sports Centre to the armouries. Organizers said there were about 100 runners registered, but because of the nasty weather the children's run was cancelled. The event was hosted by the P.E.I. Regiment.
