It was sunny and cloudy and windy and 2 degrees.The out and back course on Confederation Trail.
The 5km and 10km runners bring the runner shoes and T-shirt to send to people of poor country.
He finish in 44:55 and came in 11th.
The McCosham Brothers won both races, Mark won the 5km and Leo won the 10km.

Great idea about the recycling of shoes etc!
Credit for the idea goes to Walter Lea. I'm sure he'd be quite proud of Race Director Debbie Hughes for her dedication to this run.
What a great idea for a run theme! I have lots of shoes laying around I could donate to such an event.
